The company:
The Sabinum company is represented by 30 shareholders, who own 600 hectares of land with 70,000 olive trees. The olive groves are located in the heart of Sabina, in the north east of region of Lazio. Known as the Land of Numa Pompilio (one of the seven kings of Rome), it is also known as The Rape of the Sabine, and the land of the Benedectine Abbey of Farfa, the most important of Medieval Europe and the largest in Europe. The olives are of the Canneto variety.
The Sabinum company produces an olive oil that is characterized by a green color with yellow hues, an intense fruity flavor, an aroma that is bitter and spicy with notes of freshly squeezed olives and is harmonious.
The olives are harvested by hand and then are ground via a continuous production cycle. The ‘’Sabinum’’ olive oil with the Sabina PDO certificate can be drizzled on fresh and cooked vegetables, bruschetta, soups, legumes, grilled meat and fish dishes and can be easily used in cooking, roasting and frying.
